Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist to manage full-cycle revenue cycle management and support patient and provider billing inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for patient billing inquiries, providing education on costs and handling escalations
• Respond to provider billing questions and communicate updates on policies and reimbursement requirements
• Own full-cycle revenue cycle management tasks including claims submission, denial management, and documentation of billing processes

Required Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management, preferably in genomics or clinical laboratory settings
• Strong knowledge of EOBs, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and payer processes
• Experience collaborating with finance, operations, or clinical teams
• Familiarity with billing platforms and CRM systems, such as HubSpot
• HIPAA certified or willing to complete certification within the first 30 days of employment
