Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Billing Specialist will manage accounting activities related to the general ledger, sales, and reporting, including invoicing customers and assisting with month-end closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process contracts for software and hardware renewals, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition policies
• Enter sales orders into the ERP system based on contract terms to facilitate accurate billing
• Proactively identify and resolve billing issues while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous billing experience is required
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow outlined processes and directions effectively
• Experience in identifying and addressing processing irregularities
