Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a nationwide revenue cycle management team, the full-time remote Billing Specialist will manage claim denials, ensure billing accuracy, and maintain relationships with assigned clients while meeting required deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve billing issues and claim denials requiring clinical expertise for assigned clients
• Monitor and analyze industry trends to communicate identified issues and recommend resolutions
• Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance and efficiency in the billing cycle

Required qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• 1-2 years of medical accounts receivable experience
• Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT coding
• Proficiency in medical billing software and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to interpret medical records and documentation related to claims
