Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Leading billing workstreams for newly acquired companies, the full-time remote Billing Specialist will manage legacy fee schedules, reconcile plan-level data, and migrate billing into enterprise systems within a national financial services firm.

Key responsibilities

• Map legacy fee schedules and reconcile plan-level billing data for newly acquired companies
• Migrate billing processes into enterprise systems while ensuring compliance with GAAP and AR standards
• Communicate billing concepts effectively to non-billing teams and create integration documentation

Required qualifications

• Advanced TPA billing expertise, including knowledge of per-participant fees and revenue-share structures
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounts receivable (AR) practices
• Experience with plan-level billing, annual compliance billing, and plan terminations
• High proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems
• Proven experience in M&A integration within the retirement plan or financial services industry
