Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a nationwide revenue cycle management team, the full-time remote Billing Specialist will manage billing issues and denials, resolve claim rejections, and ensure compliance while maintaining ownership of the billing cycle for assigned clients.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve billing issues and claim denials requiring clinical expertise for assigned clients
• Monitor and analyze industry trends to identify potential impacts on billing processes
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure billing accuracy and deliver timely reports to management

Required qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• 1-2 years of medical accounts receivable experience
• Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT coding
• Proficiency in medical billing software systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to interpret medical records and documentation related to claims
