Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Coordinating and facilitating all billing activities, the full-time Billing Specialist will ensure timely and accurate billing processes by managing patient accounts and producing clean claims while telecommuting.

Key responsibilities

• Bill both electronically and manually, utilizing technology to produce clean claims
• Analyze coding and claims processing reports to ensure proper billing and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Request and attach necessary clinical documentation in accordance with third-party requirements

Required qualifications

• Experience in billing and coding within a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of insurance and CMS regulations
• Ability to interpret claims processing reports
• Proficiency in using billing software and technology
• Participation in ongoing educational programs related to billing practices
