Job Summary

To support billing operations, the remote Billing Specialist will manage patient accounts, process claims, and ensure compliance with billing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain patient billing accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
• Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding payments
• Ensure compliance with all billing regulations and internal policies

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare billing preferred
• Experience in medical billing or healthcare finance
• Familiarity with billing software and electronic health records
• Knowledge of insurance policies and regulations
• Certification in medical billing or coding is a plus
