Billing Specialist for Home Health

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Account Billing Specialist with experience in Home Health and Hospice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and ensure compliance with billing guidelines and payer rules
• Submit and resolve insurance claims, including handling charge review edits and rejections
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and address inquiries from patients and payers

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required
• One year of customer service experience in healthcare preferred
• General computer knowledge, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
• Proficient in office-based technology, including computers and scanners
• Experience with billing processes in Home Health and Hospice preferred
