Billing Specialist I

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist I to provide customer service and manage billing processes for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain accurate patient, billing, and insurance information
• Review and reconcile billing reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate communications with payers to enhance reimbursement opportunities

Required Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of experience in auditing or data analytics
• Experience in a medical office is preferred
• Knowledge of EMR systems (NextGen and/or OnBase) is preferred
• Understanding of DME/Orthotic concepts is preferred
