Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist II to manage insurance accounts receivable and ensure compliant claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and verify the accuracy of patient financial and insurance information for compliant claims
• Resolve problem accounts from payer denials and follow up on claims requiring responses
• Handle billing and collection of payments for hospitals, outpatient clinics, and employed physicians

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two years of experience in an office environment or healthcare-related field required
• Prior experience in a healthcare revenue cycle position preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT/HCPCS revenue codes preferred
• College coursework in accounting, business, or Health Care Administration preferred
