Billing Specialist III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist III - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the practice management system by entering and verifying accurate data, handling carrier correspondence, and managing payments
• Prepare, review, submit, and follow up on clean claims, and investigate rejected claims to correct issues
• Collect, post, and manage patient account payments while providing timely customer service and resolving billing issues

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 5+ years of billing experience
• Minimum of three years of healthcare experience preferred
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and general accounting principles
• Proficient in data entry and managing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
