Billing Specialist - OR & WA

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing/Follow-up Specialist - Government (Remote: OR & WA).

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve insurance claim rejections/denials and non-payment of claims
• Identify trends in billing and follow-up to expedite resolution of insurance accounts
• Draft appeals to insurance companies for reimbursement of owed monies

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in billing or insurance account follow-up
• Experience with medical terminology and knowledge of insurance processes
• Preferred: Medical Billing Certificate and Certified Revenue Cycle Representative
• Preferred: Coding knowledge and Epic experience
