Billing Support Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Support Representative I.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calls patients to review estimated out of pocket costs for genetic testing
• Assists with incoming phone calls from patients and clients, providing one-call resolution for billing-related issues
• Reviews, researches, and resolves inbound inquiries and complaints through a ticket system

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years' experience as a customer service agent or similar background
• Knowledge of CPT codes, medical terminology, insurance plans, ICD 10 codes
• 1-2+ years' experience in a clinical laboratory preferred, especially genetic testing
• Understanding of basic billing and claims processing
