Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Support Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and support in billing-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and efficient support for complex product and technical inquiries across various channels
  • Perform root cause analysis for issues and recommend corrective actions while maintaining detailed records of customer interactions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and payers to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in customer support, technical support, or billing support in a relevant field
  • Experience in the medical billing or healthcare industry, with knowledge of medical billing workflows and insurance claims
  • Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes, and understanding of claims submission processes
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and ability to navigate SaaS-based platforms
