Job Summary
A company is looking for a Billing Support Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and support in billing-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and efficient support for complex product and technical inquiries across various channels
- Perform root cause analysis for issues and recommend corrective actions while maintaining detailed records of customer interactions
- Collaborate with internal teams and payers to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1-year experience in customer support, technical support, or billing support in a relevant field
- Experience in the medical billing or healthcare industry, with knowledge of medical billing workflows and insurance claims
- Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes, and understanding of claims submission processes
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and ability to navigate SaaS-based platforms
