Job Summary

Providing specialized support and education to members of terminated accounts, the full-time Billing Support Specialist will manage a caseload focused on balance bill defense while working remotely to ensure timely issue resolution and a positive member experience.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned member caseload through proactive advocacy, enhancing member engagement and experience
  • Coordinate issue resolution by acting as the point person for member inquiries and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze billing activity to make strategic recommendations for balance bill settlements and maintain accurate documentation throughout the process
Required qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; some college preferred
  • 1+ years of related member support experience
  • Experience in billing, insurance, healthcare, or legal environments is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet navigation
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations
