Job Summary
To enhance the patient experience, the full-time remote Billing Support Specialist will investigate and resolve complex billing issues by collaborating with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams while strengthening organizational billing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve billing concerns, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions for patients
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and external stakeholders to address complex billing issues
- Document and manage case volume in a queue-based support role, maintaining high-quality standards
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing or revenue cycle operations, including insurance claims and patient billing
- Hands-on experience in a queue-based or ticket-based omnichannel support role
- Proven ability to independently resolve complex support issues with sound judgment and strong follow-through
- Experience communicating effectively with patients, vendors, and insurance companies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
