Billing Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Team Lead responsible for guiding and mentoring billers while managing client portfolios and ensuring accurate claim submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and provide feedback to billers to improve productivity and effectiveness
• Serve as the first point of escalation for complex claim issues
• Ensure timely follow-up on rejected claims and compliance with payer guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• HFMA CRCR certification or completion required within 90 days of hire
• Minimum 2 years of experience in billing initial claims and resolving rejections
• Prior mentoring experience
• Experience with clearing house systems for billing
