Billing Team Leader

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle department, the remote Billing Team Leader will manage daily operations, provide team guidance and support, and ensure quality and productivity while mentoring team members in resolving complex claim issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring to the revenue cycle management (RCM) team
• Assist in resolving complex claim issues and member escalations while identifying trends for timely resolutions
• Recommend and coordinate training opportunities to enhance team members' skills and knowledge

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role with a focus on team development
• 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, particularly in collections and denial management
• Strong understanding of healthcare billing principles and insurance claims processing
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights
