BIM Designer

Job Summary

Joining the Water Design team, the hybrid BIM Designer will develop engineering drawings and models, prepare designs from sketches, and collaborate with engineers to ensure high-quality project deliverables in Columbus, OH.

Key responsibilities

• Update and create detailed drawings for site development, utility layouts, and construction details using AutoCAD and Revit
• Produce floor plans, elevations, and schedules while maintaining compliance with CAD/BIM standards
• Coordinate with local engineers and remote teams to manage workload and meet project deadlines

Required qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in CAD and BIM, with proficiency in AutoCAD (2016 or newer) and Revit
• Strong knowledge of CAD and BIM standards, particularly for facility MEP system drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in a collaborative team environment
