BIM Engineering Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a BIM Engineering Technician to support electrical Substation design.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models of electrical substation projects
• Produce construction documents and ensure accuracy of models and drawings
• Collaborate with engineers for model coordination and implement new BIM tools

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in energy or infrastructure sectors
• Strong skills with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and/or Civil 3D
• Knowledge of substation electrical protection and control design is a plus
• Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States
