BIM Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated BIM Mechanical Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on designing and modeling mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, while collaborating with other professionals and creating detailed construction documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and model mechanical systems using BIM software, such as Revit or AutoCAD MEP
• Collaborate with architects and structural engineers to integrate mechanical systems into building designs
• Create detailed construction documents and specifications for mechanical systems, including equipment schedules and piping diagrams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in design and modeling using BIM software
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM software
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
• Familiarity with construction industry practices and standards
