BIM/VDC Project Lead

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time BIM/VDC Project Lead will manage the modeling and coordination of MEP commercial construction projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality shop drawings and effective communication with internal teams and outsourcing partners.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the 3D modeling and coordination process, ensuring adherence to BIM budgets and project specifications
• Produce accurate installation and layout drawings while applying knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems and company best practices
• Manage project lifecycle documentation, including shop drawings and fabrication drawings, while ensuring quality control of all outputs

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 4 to 7 years of experience in BIM MEP processes
• Advanced knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Fabrication, and Bluebeam software
• Complete understanding of the BIM/VDC process
• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure environments and multitask effectively
