Bioinformatician in Computational Biology

Job Summary

To support a growing Bioinformatics team, the full-time remote Bioinformatician in Computational Biology will engage with clients to deploy and implement cutting-edge bioinformatics solutions, focusing on data analysis and interpretation for large biotech and pharmaceutical companies.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and analyze current bioinformatics challenges and design scalable solutions
• Deliver timely and robust NGS and omics solutions while integrating AI-driven approaches into workflows
• Manage multiple projects and provide hands-on support for critical bioinformatics program delivery

Required qualifications

• PhD or PostDoc in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or Statistical Genetics
• Background in Oncology, Immunology, or Neuroscience is a plus
• Knowledge of public databases and tools relevant to drug discovery and multi-omics data integration
• Experience with biological foundation models, including scGPT and other transformer-based models
• Ability to generate hypotheses and scientific insights for biomarker identification and patient stratification
