Bioinformatics Analyst III

Job Summary

To accelerate drug discovery from a remote setting, the Bioinformatics Analyst III will integrate large-scale multi-modal omics data, develop predictive frameworks for drug targets, and execute computational workflows on a 6-month contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Ingest, clean, and preprocess multi-modal datasets, including RNA-seq, OMIX, and CRISPR screens
• Support perturbation analyses and build custom ranking frameworks for target efficacy prediction
• Collaborate with scientific teams to translate complex biological questions into reproducible computational solutions

Required qualifications

• MS degree with 5+ years of experience or a PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Genetics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline
• Strong coding skills in R or Python, including writing custom statistical and visualization functions
• Proven experience processing and extracting biological insights from OMIX data and CRISPR screens
• Demonstrated comfort working within HPC or cloud environments for parallel computing
• Familiarity with machine learning fundamentals and AI tools
