Bioinformatics Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy bioinformatics data pipelines and workflows using Nextflow
• Execute bioinformatics algorithms and workflows in high-performance computing environments
• Write custom scripts and software for bioinformatics analysis using Python, Perl, and/or R

Required Qualifications

• PhD degree in bioinformatics, genomics, molecular biology, genetics, or a related field
• 2+ years of hands-on bioinformatics experience through academic or research work
• Experience in developing pipelines using Nextflow, Snakemake, or Workflow Description Language (WDL)
• Experience with high-throughput data processing and strong data management skills
• Experience working in Linux environments and with open-source bioinformatics tools
