Bioinformatics Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Engineer - Nextflow and AWS Specialist (6 months contract).

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop advanced Nextflow pipelines for NGS data processing and workflow orchestration
• Deploy and optimize pipelines on AWS EKS and Batch while maintaining Docker-based container environments
• Collaborate with teams to improve workflow reliability and establish best practices for pipeline deployment

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, or workflow engineering
• Expert-level proficiency in Nextflow, including workflow optimization and debugging
• Strong experience with AWS services, particularly EC2, S3, and EKS
• Deep expertise with Docker and strong Python development skills
• Solid understanding of NGS data formats and experience with CI/CD systems
