Bioinformatics Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Bioinformatics Engineer, the successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain applications for handling genetic data while collaborating with Data Science and Bioinformatics teams in an agile environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain software applications to meet user requirements and performance standards
- Deploy and manage applications for scalability and reliability in a cloud environment

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of relevant experience in software development
- Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and MySQL, along with modern software development practices
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and test-driven development
