Job Summary
A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Production Analyst to perform basic data analysis, troubleshoot issues, analyze DNA sequencing data, improve production pipelines, and produce documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively
- Troubleshoot issues related to data analysis pipelines or low quality data
- Analyze high-throughput DNA sequencing data and implement improvements to the production pipeline
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Bioinformatics or a similar field, or equivalent experience
- Experience using Python for data analysis and plotting
- Experience using Linux command-line tools and relational databases (SQL)
- Knowledge of genomics, relevant NGS analyses, and NGS file types
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple objectives and timelines, and attention to detail
