Bioinformatics Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Scientist I to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC and downstream analyses following established work instructions
• Provide statistical analysis and develop pipelines for new assays
• Communicate progress, results, and troubleshooting to relevant stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Bioinformatics or Biology or 2+ years of professional experience in Bioinformatics
• 2+ years of experience with NGS assays, including RNA-Seq and DNA sequencing
• 2+ years of scientific programming experience using Python and/or R
• 2+ years of experience in designing, coding, and validating analysis pipelines
• 2+ years of experience in statistical analysis methodologies
