Bioinformatics Scientist
Job Summary
To support oncology drug discovery and development, the full-time Bioinformatics Scientist will leverage data science and multi-modal omics analysis to generate biological insights while collaborating with cross-functional scientific teams in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Support oncology drug discovery efforts through computational and data-driven approaches
- Analyze and integrate multi-modal omics datasets to generate meaningful biological insights
- Develop and apply innovative bioinformatics approaches to address complex research challenges
Required qualifications
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biology, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience with Python and R programming for bioinformatics data analysis
- Unix/Linux experience
- Experience analyzing bulk and single-cell NGS data
- High-performance computing (HPC) experience
