Job Summary

Seeking a part-time, remote Biology Adjunct Faculty member to teach the course "Biology and the Climate Crisis," focusing on the impacts of climate change on ecosystems and human health while engaging students through interactive learning and collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Engage students through frequent interaction and motivate them to succeed in their learning
• Guide students in collaborative, problem- and project-based learning demonstrations
• Provide constructive feedback on student work and suggest curricular improvements to the program chair

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Biology or a related field from an accredited institution
• Professional experience in Biotechnology or a related field
• Experience teaching adult learners online in higher education is strongly preferred
• Ability to demonstrate current subject-matter expertise in biology
• Commitment to completing a two-week online faculty orientation upon hire
