Job Summary
A company is looking for an Adjunct Faculty in Biology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate courses, create/review course content, assess learners, and provide academic instruction and mentoring
- Respond to learner inquiries, provide feedback and assessment, engage learners in discussion forums, and adhere to university policies
- Participate in course development/review, faculty governance/committees, and scholarly/professional research practices
Qualifications:
- Professional experience related to mentoring assignment and an accredited college degree equal to or higher than the degree sought by the assigned learner
- Minimum of three years of online teaching experience and previous experience with online instruction and learning management systems
- Terminal degree in a related discipline and/or active license in the field of psychology, counseling, therapy, business, education, nursing, or criminal justice
- Proficiency in Office 365, familiarity with Canvas or similar LMS, and ability to use Microsoft Teams and Zoom for virtual meetings
- Familiarity with research methodologies in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods designs
