A company is looking for a Biology Reporter to cover research and policy in the field of biology.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor journals, preprints, and social media for research and policy developments
• Develop sources at universities and biomedical agencies, and generate original story ideas
• Report and write stories in various formats, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to multimedia content

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological science or equivalent reporting experience
• At least three years of science reporting experience in a competitive environment
• Deep knowledge of at least one area of biomedical research
• Understanding of government policies and agencies affecting biomedical research
• Willingness and ability to travel for conferences and reporting
