Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Biome Artist will create and manage terrain and vegetation systems for game arenas, ensuring each biome has a unique identity while collaborating with the art team to meet visual standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and integrate terrain, foliage, and vegetation assets for various biomes
  • Build and maintain asset libraries for ground cover, trees, and rocks designed for performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with the Art Director to ensure biomes align with visual briefs and seasonal changes
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of environment art experience on shipped AAA titles, focusing on terrain and natural content
  • Strong experience with Unreal Engine 5, including Landscape tools and PCG
  • Proficiency with vegetation tools like SpeedTree and understanding of plant growth and lighting
  • Solid grasp of PBR material workflows for diverse lighting scenarios
  • Experience in building artist-friendly asset systems that scale
