Biomedical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Biomedical Engineer / LMDI SME.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive medical equipment management program in compliance with healthcare standards
• Create and deliver a continuing education curriculum on the safe use of medical technology for healthcare staff
• Manage a recall and safety alert program for medical devices, ensuring compliance with patient safety goals and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Certification as a Clinical Engineer (CCE)
• 5+ years of experience as a Hospital-based Biomedical Engineer or Field Service Engineer with laboratory experience
• Strong knowledge of laboratory management systems and experience with Oracle Health EHR
• Demonstrated competency in conducting compliant medical equipment management programs
• Understanding of regulatory agencies' requirements and industry standards
