Biomedical Technician - Medical Imaging

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Biomedical Technician / Equipment Support Specialist - Medical Imaging Systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, safety inspections, and performance verification on medical imaging systems
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex imaging system failures
• Install, configure, and test imaging equipment and support system integration with hospital networks

Required Qualifications

• Associates or higher degree in biomedical technology, biomedical engineering, electronics, or related field with relevant experience
• Minimum three years of hospital or healthcare experience in medical equipment maintenance, including one year with medical imaging equipment
• Comprehensive knowledge of imaging techniques, technologies, and radiological practices
• Ability to maintain and troubleshoot networked medical imaging equipment and interfaces
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to medical imaging
