Biomedical Technician with Cybersecurity Expertise

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Biomedical Technician/Equipment Support Specialist with medical device cybersecurity expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and integration of computer-based medical equipment and clinical systems
• Troubleshoot connectivity and interface issues, and assist with vulnerability and patch management
• Ensure systems align with cybersecurity requirements and maintain inventory accuracy for networked medical equipment

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare experience in medical equipment maintenance, including 1 year in medical information systems and networking
• Two-year associate degree or higher in applied science or equivalent military training
• Current knowledge of computer virus protection software, information security tools, and network theory
• Experience with TCP/IP, HL7, networking, and DICOM standards
• Ability to interpret technical literature, schematics, and networking principles
