Biosafety Red Teaming Specialist

Job Summary

Leading biosafety red teaming efforts, the full-time Biosafety Red Teaming Specialist will manage evaluation questions and external collaborations while driving the bio bounty program's strategy and maturity in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead bio red teaming initiatives, shaping evaluation criteria and scenarios for biological misuse pathways
• Manage the Bio Bounty program, including challenge questions and submission reviews, while collaborating with internal and external experts
• Communicate findings and risk assessments clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications

• At least 8 years of technical experience in CBRN or related fields
• Deep expertise in biosafety, biosecurity, or adjacent CBRN domains, with experience in assessing dual-use biological risks
• Experience in bio red teaming, threat modeling, or intelligence analysis related to malicious actors
• Strong program management skills with the ability to prioritize ambiguous findings based on real-world impact
• Technical fluency to collaborate effectively with data, engineering, and safety teams
