Biospecimen Project Manager

Job Summary

To support Translational Sciences and Clinical Trials teams, the full-time Biospecimen Project Manager will develop and establish processes for biospecimen lifecycle management, ensuring accurate tracking, communication, and compliance with study requirements in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead processes for specimen lifecycle management from receipt to final disposition
• Monitor and track specimen location and viability, ensuring alignment with retention requirements
• Communicate updates and manage discrepancies related to specimen metadata and data transfer plans

Required qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in life sciences, medical technology, or a related field with 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in biospecimen lifecycle management and clinical development
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated organizational abilities
• Preferred experience in vendor management and budgeting or forecasting
• Understanding of ICH, GCP, GLP, and local regulations
