Biospecimen Project Manager

Job Summary

Driving biospecimen lifecycle management, the full-time remote Biospecimen Project Manager will oversee sample receipt to analysis, ensure accurate specimen metadata, and manage data transfer plans with analytical laboratories.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the biospecimen lifecycle from sample receipt to final disposition and analysis
• Ensure accurate specimen metadata and oversee data transfer to clinical repositories
• Create and manage project plans while participating in or leading special projects as assigned

Required qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in life sciences, medical technology, or related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Understanding of clinical trial processes and regulations including ICH, GCP, and GLP
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with LIMS for biospecimen management
• Project management experience is preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
