Biostatistical Consultant III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Biostatistical Consultant III to provide complex statistical consultation for faculty, staff, and students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide statistical consultation including design of experiments, data analysis, and interpretation of results
• Assist in the preparation of manuscripts and grant proposals, including the statistical portions
• Collaborate with investigators to identify problems and perform statistical computations

Required Qualifications and Education

• Master's Degree in biostatistics or related discipline, or MPH with a concentration in biostatistics
• 5 years of experience in statistical consulting, preferably in a biomedical or healthcare environment
• Working knowledge of SAS, SPSS, or other major statistical packages (S+, R, etc.) and Microsoft Office (ACCESS and EXCEL)
• Experience in developing and modifying programs for in-house use
• Ability to supervise biostatistical consultants and/or data entry operators
