Biostatistician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Biostatistician to support a Biological testing program.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for statistical analysis to product teams, subcontractors, and clients
• Analyze correlates of immunity for vaccines and product efficacy, and determine population size for studies
• Prepare conclusions based on data summaries and advise clients on statistical processes

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in statistics, mathematics, or related field with 7+ years of experience, or PhD with 5+ years of experience in biostatistics
• 3+ years of experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry
• Experience with SAS and JMP software, and both traditional and Bayesian statistical methods
• Ability to clearly describe statistical approaches to non-statisticians and clients
• Experience with statistical, data-collection, and test development procedures
