Biostatistician

Job Summary

Collaborating with clinical investigators, the full-time Biostatistician will determine study designs, write statistical analysis plans, perform statistical analyses, and summarize findings in reports, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborating with clinical investigators to determine study design and writing sections of protocols requiring statistical input
• Leading the development of statistical analysis plans and performing statistical analyses while ensuring proper implementation of treatment allocations
• Generating study reports for internal and external monitoring committees and participating in professional development activities

Required qualifications

• PhD in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or a related field
• Demonstrated proficiency with statistical methods and applications in clinical research
• Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently as well as in a team environment
• Effective communication of technical concepts, both written and oral
