Biostatistician Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of Statisticians and SAS Programmers, the full-time Biostatistician Manager will oversee statistical activities and deliverables across clinical research studies, ensuring high-quality outputs and timely completion while collaborating with clinical investigators on study design and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborates with clinical investigators to determine study design and writes statistical sections of protocols
• Leads the development of statistical analysis plans and performs statistical analyses, ensuring compliance with protocol objectives
• Maintains communication with stakeholders and contributes to departmental strategies and initiatives

Required qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree in Statistics with a minimum of 8 years of clinical research experience
• Strong understanding of experimental design and proficiency in statistical methods applicable to clinical research
• Competency in SAS programming language and/or R
• Experience with clinical database technologies and statistical programming
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively both independently and within a team
