Biostatistics Director

Job Summary

Leading statistical activities for medical publications and external collaborations, the full-time remote Biostatistics Director will provide scientific expertise, guide statistical design, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support scientific communication efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Leads statistical and programming efforts for medical publications and scientific congresses
• Guides statistical design and analysis for investigator-initiated research and collaborative studies
• Collaborates with Medical Affairs and other teams to develop and maintain publication strategy plans and Supplemental Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs)

Required qualifications

• PhD in statistics or biostatistics with 8+ years of relevant experience, or MS in statistics or biostatistics with 15+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
• Experience in post-approval/Medical Affairs settings
• Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies and current drug development trends
• Established publication record and experience supporting scientific communication
• Excellent programming skills, preferably in R and/or SAS
