Biotech Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a major data architecture modernization initiative, the full-time remote Biotech Data Engineer will drive the migration from an existing Azure environment to Microsoft Fabric, optimizing platform performance and integrating GXP manufacturing and quality data for regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement the migration of the analytics environment from Azure to Microsoft Fabric
• Integrate GXP manufacturing and quality data streams into the platform to enhance regulatory compliance capabilities
• Build and maintain scalable data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric features

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with expertise in Microsoft Fabric and the Azure ecosystem
• Proven experience architecting and executing migrations from traditional Azure data architectures to Microsoft Fabric
• Strong knowledge of modern ETL/ELT pipeline orchestration and data governance
• Deep understanding of SDLC/Agile and Azure DevOps for CI/CD and artifact management
• Certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Fabric Data Engineer Associate are preferred
