Biotech Patent Counsel

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Counsel - Biotech Patent Law - Biosimilars will develop and implement market access strategies for biosimilars and innovator molecules, focusing on freedom-to-operate analyses and handling all aspects of intellectual property.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of intellectual property, including patent identification, prior art searches, and pre-litigation activities
• Develop and implement global freedom-to-operate strategies in collaboration with in-house attorneys
• Draft and prosecute patent applications while providing support for patent litigation

Required Qualifications

• J.D. or LL.M. degree from an accredited law school with admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction
• Four (4) years of experience practicing intellectual property law
• Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Experience in U.S. and/or foreign intellectual property law relating to biotechnology
• Undergraduate degree in the sciences, with a preference for advanced degrees or research experience in relevant fields
