Blade Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Blade Engineer to manage blade asset health for customers through their Horizon platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage blade asset health, including inspection review, damage prioritization, and repair scheduling
• Develop and aid in determining repair budgets and inspection strategies
• Provide engineering support for repair vendors and lead customer projects with comprehensive reporting

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in wind energy blade engineering with an OEM, owner/operator, or ISP
• Expertise in composite materials, blade design, manufacturing, and repairs
• Customer-focused with a self-starter mentality
• Ability to collaborate and manage teams across multiple locations and time zones
