Blast Design Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Blast and Protective Design Lead to join their Buildings Sector team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consulting services for physical security and protective design, including blast design and site layout
• Perform calculations and dynamic analyses of building structures to assess blast loading and prevent progressive collapse
• Coordinate design information with architects and contractors, and draft reports to communicate technical requirements

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in structural dynamics, blast engineering, and protective design
• Able to obtain security clearance
• Experience with Revit, Tekla, and AutoCAD preferred
• Demonstrated experience in collaborative and inclusive team environments
