Blood and Marrow Transplant Specialist

Job Summary

To support the collection and management of transplant data, the experienced Blood and Marrow Transplant Research Registry Specialist will work remotely as a 1099 contractor, abstracting and submitting data in compliance with CIBMTR guidelines while ensuring data quality and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities:

• Abstract, collect, and submit blood and marrow transplant data according to CIBMTR guidelines
• Review patient medical records for accuracy and compliance with registry standards
• Communicate with transplant program staff regarding missing or incomplete data and participate in quality assurance reviews

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of Blood and Marrow Transplant Registry experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in a related area or equivalent combination of experience/training
• Understanding of medical terminology and experience with CIBMTR reporting preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing complex medical information
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with excellent organizational skills
